I don’t know if I sent you this one, it is pretty great
Malcolm Update
Hi Suzanne,
Just wanted to give you an update on the kitten we adopted from you a few months ago, I think the beginning of August?
We’ve named him Malcolm and he is absolutely a blast. My husband and I adore him like crazy. He really is amazing. He loves company and company always loves him. I’ve attached some pictures showing him off.
Not sure if you’re an Instagram user but his tag is #squishymal
I’m also emailing you with another purpose. Your website mentioned kittens from Breez (Malcolm’s mom) and now it is under construction and I hope that’s because you’re busy posting tons of new kitten pictures!
My husband and I have always wanted two cats to keep each other company and since Malcolm will be a year old in May we have started keeping our eyes open for a new cat so they can bond while he’s still young.
We’d love to get info as soon as possible to see if there’s any male cats that might look like a good match for Malcolm.
I also have a small question with your experience with british shorthairs. What is a healthy weight for a mature male british? What would be a weight you might begin to worry about? I ask because a family member has a 5 yr brit and he’s starting to get quite hefty. I know brits are thicker, stalkier cats so I don’t want to go past a healthy point with Malcolm as he gets older.
Thanks for everything!
MarkieAnn
Powder and Thatcher Pals
Hi Suzanne,
It’s been a year since Thatcher joined us here in Charlotte, NC. We just wanted to give you an update.
He is goofy, feisty, and a joy to have around. We were worried that our crazy dog would beat up on him… HAHA jokes on us. Thatcher is the instigator and is happy to chase Powder (our Dog) around the house. Great exercise for both. He likes to cuddle and loves to sleep with us. This is new since our last British Shorthair didn’t like to cuddle at all. I would say that one of his favorite past times right now is to knock every glass off the table if it is left unattended. I have a lot of mismatched glassware now. I call it eclectic. Hahaha
Well, he is doing great and I have attached a picture of the two pals.
Happy New Year, Christine Jewett
