So Jasmine is a “greeter” in our home. No matter who walks through the doors; male or female, can be total strangers, she makes an appearance, wants to sniff them and allows herself to be petted. I’ve never had a cat like that before. Most hide when strangers come over.
We’ve had a lot of people in and out of our house lately due to the fact we need 24 Hour Care for Mom as she has metastatic cancer. But Jasmine is a bright spot in our lives, even letting Mom pet her and being patient and calm throughout this transition and move to Kansas City from Houston. All the cats made it to Kansas City fine, but Jasmine just shines. I can’t tell you how many people have inquired about her and expressed a desire to adopt her, including my sister. I have to pat everyone down as they leave to make sure they don’t stick her in their pockets or purses when they leave.
