Archie, I’m trying to watch Mulan!
Archie went to his first Vet appt today. Got his rabies vaccine, nails trimmed, flea medicine applied and exam. Squirmed the whole time and hollered in the car all the way over and all the way back. Passed his exam with flying colors. Didn’t seem to nervous being handled. Just wanted to get down, get loose and run around exploring and playing. His usual. 😼😸
They even took his new kitten client picture:
He’s keeping me busy. 😼😻
What’s not to love about a kitten? And so photogenic! Archie loves the camera…..and cell phone. And water bottle….and blinds…and toys.
Archie just arrived at home. The pickup at the airport went smoothly in spite of all the construction. My friend Deb actually went into the airport to meet Cristian and it went like clockwork. I waited in the car at the curb waiting for the security police to make me move. Due to the lower numbers of people flying they didn’t make me move this time.
Thanks for everything and Cristian did a great job. We had to let Archie out of his carrier to walk around inside the car on the drive home. He was pretty vocal expressing his displeasure over being stuck in the carrier. Now he wants to stay in there awhile. 🥰 I have his litter box, kitten fancy feast and Hills dry kitten food ready for when he is ready. I imagine he needs a little break/rest and quiet time for a little while.
I certainly will. After a short while, he came out of his carrier, explored the sun room, ate a few bites of wet food, drank a few sips of water and used the litter box.
Later in the afternoon/early evening he probably ate a half can of Fancy Feast, ate some Hills kitten science dry food, plus used the litter box again. He plays and plays all by himself with his toys. He has been purring and climbing all over me. He took a brief nap late afternoon, gave me a chance to grab a bite to eat and do a couple things. Jasmine and Charlotte hissed a greeting to him. Not a great welcoming committee.
He plays until he tires himself.
