WINSTON

Hi Suzanne,

I wanted to send a couple of pictures of Winston (we call him Ike)

We do enjoy him. Thanks, Linn

Good morning Suzanne,

My little girl’s fur is just like silk she is so soft I thought it would be fun to have another British Blue.  Do all British Blue’s have that silky fur?  I love Chester just as much and he is my big boy, but the British Blue fur is so soft and silky.  Let me know your thoughts.  As you know I am very proud of my kids and they are a huge part of my life.

Here are two new pictures of the kids.

My two kids are doing great.  They play and sleep together and they are just beautiful, thank you again for raising and breading such wonderful pets.

OSCAR

I am a bit late in making my report on Oscar. He is for sure a black cat, is very athletic, is sitting on my laptop computer as I type this, and we really enjoy him. He is not a lap-sitter but does come and sit beside us to get a good petting, then off he goes.

He weighed 11.5 Lbs. on his birthday on Feb.. 27.We now have him eating Science Diet Adult Indoor Cat food, although he still gets some canned Friskie food along with the dry food.

When you get a chance, tell me about how long it takes for his face to fill out. He has all the characteristics he should have except his jowls are still angular rather than rounded like Oliver's.

QUINCY

Hi Suzanne,

Just wanted to send you a quick update on Quincy.  He turned 7 months yesterday and is doing wonderful!  I have enclosed a couple pictures for you to see how handsome he is!  I would like to ask you a question.  I am feeding him 4 times a day; breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime.  All his meals combined in a day = one can of wet food (5.5 oz) mixed with one third of a cup of dry.  Do you think I am over feeding him?

He finishes all of his meals with the exception of his lunch.  Sometimes he only eats a little or sleeps thru it.  I have been trying to wean him off of lunch but some days he thinks he is starving.  He looks healthy to me and is active.  I am not sure of his weight, he hasnt been to my vet lately.  But is the amount of food or how often I am feeding him excessive?  I would appreciate your opinion.

I am patiently watching your web site for Quincy's future friend.  Any blues or blue&white coming soon

Sorry to bother you, just had a question for you.  I see that on your testimonial page there is a woman, Jennie, from Park city Utah, that had one of your kittens and then got another one.  I was wondering if the next time you hear form her you could ask her if I could contact her and so I could talk to her about her experience with adding a second kitten to her family.  As you know, I am considering getting a friend for Quincy and I would just like to see what her thoughts and feelings on the whole situation are.  Like I told you previously, Quincy is so perfect and fitting into our family so well that I am afraid to mess with perfection.  On the other hand, I would love for him to have a friend and companion but not at the expense of what I have now.  Oh Jeez, I don't know if that makes any sense or not, lol, maybe I am just a little neurotic!  OK, enough of that rambling! On a side note, there is also a woman who's testimonials I read that keeps asking you (several times) when you might have any silver classic tabby.  I really hope she is getting the new silver kitten!!!  I hope all is well with you and your family and the new additions.  Thanks for your patience with my multiple questions and concerns.

Jeanette

TAZZ

Hi Suzanne,

Yes, It's cold.  This is the time of the year when it seems like it's never going to get warm.

Taz is absolutely wonderful.....  He has so much personality and he loves Cheetos!  He can be in another room and if I open a bag of Cheetos he is suddenly in my face, doing everything he can to get me to give him some.  I don't know how he discovered Cheetos... I let him lick the cheese off my fingers.  It's fun to watch him and Lily wrestle on the floor, and then he plays keep away because there are so many places he can get into that the barrel bodied Pug can't.  He's great!!!  One thing I need to ask you... Just yesterday I was combing him (which I do pretty much every other day with a flea comb as you suggested) and I'm pretty sure I found a flea.  This disturbs me as when I was showing Springers I would occasionally come home from a show with fleas ( especially from county fair grounds) and I hated the whole getting rid of them routine.  I am positive that Lily has no fleas and maybe it's from the people upstairs who are cat sitting and just got a dog from the Humane Society..... Anyways, what do you recommend I get.  I keep Frontline Plus in the house for dogs but want to know what you recommend I use for Taz... I have combed him at least three more times since I found the one flea and haven't found anymore...and I comb in all the warm place and keep checking in his ears.  I'd rather give them both something now just in case it is coming from upstairs.

Let me know what you want me to do for flea prevention and keep my posted on your new kittens.... Although, I knew you had that litter as I check on your website at least 3 or 4 times a week.

I will send new photos soon.... It seems like whenever he is doing something cute I run for my camera and by the time I get back he's off doing something else.

Take care,
Angelo

DARCY aka "Darcetta, Sam, Darce"

Just thought you might want to see Darcy and used this old thread to make the process easier. I was reading TS Elliot's poem about a cat needing three names and thought I have done that with every cat I owned, or owned me, given them extra names. So here is Darcy, Darcetta, Sam (I slip and call her that some times), and Darce...When I say I can't imagine not having her in my life, she is truly the first cat I can say that about. I have loved them all but this is the GREATEST cat PURRsonality wise I have ever had. She rules, rocks, and knows how to pour on the charm to get out of anything!I took the picture with an Olympus camera I purchased but did not like the quality so took it back and am waiting for a Sony to arrive.

My Kodak took better pics than the Olympus! Getting a new camera for an Alaskan cruise (super cheap prices). Darcy has grown, but we all usually forget she is not the size of our  late Sam, Samson, Sammy, or Samuel. The ever present Rudy, Rue, Rudeman doesn't forget either!!!Joyce

"Loung'n Pics"

I thought you might like these two...
