AMELIE

Hello Suzanne,

Amelie is doing great!! She seems very comfortable and confident stomping around the house. So friendly, and sometimes naughty. We can't believe how fast she is growing. She was so dainty when she arrived and now she seems to get bigger every time we look at her.

She is growing more and more independent too. I've attached a photo. She likes to squeeze in between the cushions of the sofa and fall asleep sometimes, often using the remote control as a pillow. Yes, she get very possessive of the remote control. Hmmm.

Suzanne,

I just wanted to send you an email to let you know that kitty has arrived in San Francisco safe and sound. When we brought her home and let her out of the carrier, she began exploring, playing and flirting immediately. You would have never known that she had been on an airplane for six hours. I think she was very comfortable on her fluffy little cushion.

She is, without a doubt, the cutest kitten I have ever seen. Akiko and I are happy beyond words, and we are absolutely in love with this little lady. We had so much fun playing with her today that my cheeks still hurt from smiling and laughing so much. We are amazed though, that she didn't make a sound the entire time. She is so quite, that we a thinking about putting a bell on her.

We did have a couple of questions about the "Scratch Pedigree" you sent earlier this week. We were wondering if you would mind making a couple of changes and sending a new one? Under "Sex:" it says "Male". Could you change to "Female"? Also change/add "Blue" to "Coat Color:", and "British Blue Shorthair" to "Breed:"? Also could you let me know a little more about this CFA Registration thing?

Thank you so much for making our British Blue dream come true!

Adam

TIPPER

Suzanne,

Hope you had a wonderful visit with family, we did.
We got the package today and it's so exciting to get all this and know he'll be here soon.
We are ready for him, toys, food, cat post, tunnel and bed. Charles is out in the garage right now adding a little something for his scratching post. We have two huge cat trees for Tucker, one in the living room and one in our bedroom. After Tucker gets use to Tipper, we are hoping that he will share one of his trees or both. ha ha  I am waiting to measure Tipper to buy his "Come go with me harness" from Drs. Foster & Smith. Tucker has gotten use to his and I want to start Tipper on his as soon as I can after he is use to us and his new home. Every one is waiting for pictures of him. Even people we met on our cruise that love cats.
I passed your name around. Waiting to hear from you as to what the next step is. I think it would be to pay for trip and I can do this anytime you say. E-mail me as to when is best time to call and do that.
Thanks again and I'll be glad (as I know you will) to have him in our arms.
Charles & June

WILLOW AND RICKY

Willow arrived safe and sound last night.  She and Ricky had no problem adjusting at all and Lucy is better this time with her.  She watches Willow from a closer distance and only springs and hisses when Willow gets too close.  Willow is just so unique.  We love her color and markings.  I feel like we have a wild animal in our house.  She purrs like Ricky and she certainly is noisy.  But she was quiet last night so I hope that continues.  Thanks for another terrific cat.  Who are her parents???

MADISON

Hello Suzanne ~

Just wanted to send you a picture of our little girl, Madison. The Joy of my life!!

To make you laugh, ...My sister found the "perfect" toy for Madison,... a piece of paper rolled-up into a ball... LOL.. Madison loves it!!! She bats it around all over the apt. until it flies under the furniture and she can no longer grab it! We get her a new piece and then the game starts all over again.

Have a Great Day and enjoy the pics. :-)

BAILEY AND DOOLEY

As you can see Bailey & Dooley are best of buddies.  They get along really well with each other.  They both love to be brushed.

One gets shut in the bathroom or any other room - the other stands outside the door and chirps.  Dooley (tabby) thinks he can open the doors by jumping up
to the door knob and hanging on - maybe by some chance the door will open.  If it doesn't open, then he just keeps jumping against it (brute force ????) until someone opens it for him.
We've decided that Dooley has springs built into his legs.  One minute he's standing on the floor - the next minute he standing up on top of the counter or the table.
Dooley has learned the command "Down" and they both know "Let's eat".  Dooley loves to play with the toys that have feathers and a fuzzy play mouse only lasts about a week
before Dooley plucks it bald.  He doesn't eat the fuzz off of the play mouse - he just leaves the pieces of fuzz all over the house.  Bailey likes to play with milk jug caps and those
little fuzzy balls.  I cleaned the kitchen the other day and found four milk jug caps and several little fuzzy yarn balls under the stove.

Dooley weighs 6.8 pounds and Bailey weighs 5.4 pounds.  The staff at our vet's office went crazy over both of them.  We weren't sure if we were going to get "our boys" back to take them home.
We were told that they are in excellent health and that they are both "beautiful cats".  Our vet was very impressed with the papers we took with us - the vaccination records, etc.

We love them both - Bailey with his kingly air and Dooley with his antics.  They have brought us such enjoyment, joy and laughter.
Thank you so much - they are just wonderful.

We will send you further updates.   (I think I may have already sent you some of these pictures - we haven't taken any new pictures for 2-3 weeks)

GREMLIN AND POOF

Hi Suzanne, haven't strangled any weasels yet <G>. Gremlin has 6 kills and 3 "escapees" so far. It's getting harder to tell them apart unless they are next to each other-- also Poof will let you lean down and pet her but G jumps away from your hand unless it has food in it or on it. Jelly still growls once in a while. She just spent 2 days in an emergency clinic for being bowel-blocked and dehydrated. Since she's been home Gremlin has been glued to her hip almost all the time. She still won't stay in bed or in the room when the kittens come near. Vet said possibly the kits kept her stressed enough to limit her food or water. They hear her in the area of the food bowls and they run to see what she's doing and she leaves. We're keeping them away when she eats and she's doing OK so far. She brings a mouse into the livingroom while growling and drops it in front of the kits. Poof usually just watches, then smells the places where the mouse runs.
Laura has popped up with breast cancer last month-seems to be the type that the doctors call very treatable. She goes in for surgery this Thurs. We've been in testing and consultations every other day since it showed up. She's a nervous wreck so the kits provide a lot of comic relief.
Not so funny--- last month Poof followed me into the bathroom ( like always ) and she usually sees what I'm doing and figures "that's a good idea" and jumps into the litterbox. This time she jumped into the STOOL. I managed to miss her and picked her up and put her on the floor. ( front legs only were wet ). I turned around and put her on a damp towel stretched between the garbage can and the laundry hamper. the garbage lid tipped a little and she did a backward somersault into the hamper. I thought well Ill just drop the towel on her and dry her off. She was whirling around in the round hamper trying to find a way out. By the time I dropped the towel she climbed the basket-raced across both my thighs and one arm- and exited the room. I was left standing with blood and pee running down my legs-- I looked out into the kitchen and she was playing with a toy mouse. I cleaned up and went to bed and she followed. She got on the headboard and started playing with the clock-rad!
io!
. reached up to put her down between us and she hooked the power cord with one claw and I ended up with a radio and a cat on top of my head. She jumped down and went downstairs--short night

Lily

Hello Suzanne,

It's been a crazy few weeks here, but Lily is doing wonderfully.  She and Lucy hit it off immediately, much to our surprise.  Lily has slipped so easily into our lives, it's already hard to imagine her not being here.  She definitely a curious and social cat.  She was out and about at our dinner party last night, much to everyone's delight.  She also  finally found her meow yesterday, which has led to quite a bit of meal time amusement.  Thank you so much for such a great kitten!  Here's a link to some pictures and a video of her and Lucy:  http://picasaweb.google.com/thegiustozzis/Lily?authkey=Gv1sRgCI7atsuk2J3IwAE#

Thanks again!

HARRY HOTSPUR

Suzanne,

How are you? To refresh your memory, I bought Harry Hotspur from you about a three years ago now and I still adore the little (or not so little) guy. My problem, however, is that I feel bad for taking him away from his current custodian, my ex-girlfriend who has looked after him for the last year while I was away in London for study. She's fallen in love with him as have so many of my friends from Europe who have only seen pictures. Harry has become so popular that he has his own face book page. I've attached a picture of him for you...He's not quite as sweet and innocent as this picture would indicate...he's quite a character sometimes.

Anyway, I noticed some of the pictures on your website include some silver tabbies. If I were to leave Harry with Jess, I would want another and perhaps a striking silver tabby would be cool. Do you have any on the way? the other idea would be to buy her a kitten and take Harry back but I'm not sure that would be preferable as she really does love him.

Anyway, please let me know on the silver tabbies.

Best regards,

Dave

BONNIE AND MISTI

Hey Suzanne,

Well I got a gate and put it up so that the cats can only get into their room and the dogs can’t get to the cat cookies (lol), but the cats are doing great they aren’t really scared of the dogs and the dogs are great around them.

I think Bonnie wants to be in the dog pack.  She has been sleeping up on my bed with me and the dogs don’t care.  One of my labs (the youngest) is always licking her, and when one of the other dogs get to excited she barks and growls at them…I guess she’s trying to be her mother.

Well Misty (yeah I changed her name back) has surprised me she is coming around to the dogs but if they try to get into her face she will tell them to back off which is a good thing.

Oh and I just got the gate yesterday so this is wonderful progress! Well if you ever have a solid black or a red like that male but a female I will definitely be interested.  I will try to get some good pictures soon.

Thanks,

Paul

Pictures of Bonnie and Misty w/ the dogs

Well I went to the vet today and they totally loved Bonnie and Meow-Meow (by-the-way I changed Misty’s name).  I think they were the gossip of the vet’s office today :D and they are healthy cats.

Hey,

Well the cats are doing great! Today I let them explore some rooms in my house and they love every bit of it by chasing each other down and playing in the boxes I have out there.  Every time that I say Where are the Kitty Cats to the dogs they always run to the door and sniff it and they are very excited and cant wait to meet Bonnie and Misty.  Bonnie is funny she tries to groom my hair when I am laying down and playing with them.  But I do have some questions when Bonnie poops she always has some still on here but do I remove it or we she learn to get that off in the future? Well got to go the are calling for me cya and Thanks again- Paul

BAO BAO

Suzanne,

I have attached a few pictures of Bao Bao. She had adapted pretty well now.

I actually have a few question.

How much canned food does she usually eat? Yesterday, she only ate half at night.

Also, she hasn't been eating much dry food, is it normal?

Thanks for everything.

Daniel

Our Kitten has arrived. She is a bit scared right now. We have isolated her in our guest room with the litter box, water and food.

She looks so lovely, thank you for everything. We'll keep in touch and update you on her status.

Thanks again for everything.

Louie

Hi Suzanne,

Louie celebrated his 4th birthday earlier this month. He's been doing great! I've added the Oxyfresh to all of his water bowls and he doesn't seem to notice it at all. Hopefully this will help to avoid another dental cleaning next year. I've attached some pictures. The two of him sitting in his green cradle were taken on his birthday. He loves to sit in it and watch all the action going on outside.

He actually gets really excited when he hears a garbage truck!

He will run to his perch and sit and watch until all the garbage has been thrown in and it has gone down the street before he will hop down and go back to what he was doing!! It's really funny, but he does it almost every week! The other one is him sitting with his pink baby blanket. I bought the fabric to sew him a pillow when he was just a kitten, but he seems to like laying on it and cuddling with it just as it is. I bought him a couple of colors, but he really likes the pink one best!

Thanks for my little guy, Suzanne. He just brings me so much joy!

Best,
Stacie
