Testimonies 2009 - September
VICTORIA
Hi,
I appreciate all the idea's
you have E-mailed me. When our friends
see her thy say she's so small, but thy
love her face and big eye's, you know
she has a cute face.

She still is unsure about me
carrying her around the house, when I go
into her room and put her collar +leash
on she doesn't mind me carrying her
outside, as you can see from the
photo's, which is great.

These photos with my other animals is
to let you see what she has to deal with
on a daily bases.

Elizabeth

GREMLIN AND POOF
Been leaving the Weasels out 24/7.
Jelly has mellowed to a high-pitched
whine instead of growls, but she still
leaves if they get too rowdy or too
close. Little one finally started to
purr after a week, Big'un purrs all the
time. I didn't realize they would be
able to get up on our bed, but they sure
do, even with Jelly there. They NEVER
lie down and they jump anything that
moves under the covers with teeth and
all four sets of claws. I think I have a
warranty claim one Big'un..She's
supposed to be MY cat, but when Laura
gets home from work and sits on the
couch to read the mail, she's on her lap
and sound asleep. Gremlin spends all her
time looking for another cat to ambush
or tracking down bugs and she cleans
everyone's bowls.
Let the kits into the rest of the
house today. The 22lb Smurf we had would
knock over furniture and people to catch
and eat a fly. These girls do the
absolutely same thing. Tabby growled,
hissed and went upstairs to our bedroom.
The kits never stopped running and
wrestling for 2 1/2 hrs. Tabby came
sneaking downstairs and went into the
girls' room and got cornered when they
saw her and crept up behind her. Big'un
kind of backed off when she turned
around and growled. Little "goofy" stood
nose to nose with her and matched her
growl for growl with her tail swollen up
like a ball-bat. We plan on only letting
them out when we are here. I don't think
Jelly would hurt them, but she still
won't make up. I guess you could call it
progress. Had a hard time getting them
back in the room for the nite-- they
really figured out how that sliding door
works and shoot for the crack like
rockets. Still no snuggles. Marion&
Laura
The Tasmanian Devil has calmed from
110% to 105%. 65 yrs ago I remember my
G'pa shooting cats like that--said they
had distemper. Our daughter came over
Sun morn and got them to come out and
play. Sun eve I sat in the room for
about 2hrs and the older one eventually
started rubbing my leg and finally let
me pet her--I didn't realize how
difficult it is to "pet" a cat so
small--few little bones and some fur.
All the cats we've ever had would go to
our daughter before anyone or anything
else-and she's allergic but toughs it
out. Last nite I went out to scoop their
pan at 10:30 before bed and ended up
staying until after 12. got to hold the
big'un for about 45sec and the young'un
came over and licked then bit my toes.
This morning I resumed the petting and
got to hold both of them for about
30sec. They don't struggle as much now,
but they're not into snuggling yet. They
really know what the food bowls are for
and they treat the litter pan like a
beagle digging for a rabbit. Ou!
r !
tabby still won"t get any closer than
4ft from the screen and usually growls
once and leaves . Kittens act like
they'd really like to get in the living
room or are curious about the tabby.
Names on the Vet"s file will probably be
Gremlin for little one and Poof for
big'un. Usually our cats get home names
after some arbitrary length of time.
Right now it"s "yours" or "mine" or
big'un and young'un. I think the little
one is going to be the Alpha cat--she
pushes into the food bowls and finishes
off any leftovers.

Hey!
I have attached a zip folder.
These pictures are absolutely
beautiful.
Yes Holmes is a big boy not
12 lbs.; however, maybe 11ish. I
bought a toddler scale so I can
weigh him and home.

I wanted to make sure he
wasn't losing too much weight when
he had the bladder infection. The
house is fine, I am not really
liking Olive Branch, MS living, but
doing okay.
ANGUS
Hi Suzanne,

I can't convey how much fun we've
been having with Angus. He's just
the perfect cat, extremely
well-socialized.

He was ready to hang out
with us and explore the house after
just two days of hanging out in his
room, and he is not a stranger to
anyone who comes by the house to
check him out.
Here are a few pictures, when I can
get him on camera. He just won't sit
still (unless you want lots of
pictures of him sleeping).

He started coughing a little last
week in the mornings, so we've been
giving him the Clavamox and that
seems to have cleared things right
up. Thanks for sending that in his
care kit.
I'll send more pictures as soon as I
can, but here's the little stinker
now.

BEAR AND ENZO
Hi Suzanne,
My husband Monty and I adopted 2
British Shorthairs from you in March
2008, one cream (Bear) and one red (Enzo).

I have attached pictures
for you.

We absolutely adore these
boys, they have the best
personality!

Regards,
Kathi
