Testimonies 2010 - December
SASHA
Hi Suzanne,
Last year my husband surprised me with a
kitty purchased from you. I would like
you to know that Sasha rules the roost
and even got in on the Christmas card
pictures. She sleeps with me every
night and greets me when I get home from
school.
Thanks for offering such loving animals
to the public! I hope you enjoy the
rest of the holidays.
Sincerely,
Lee
Suzanne,
Post Xmas greeting. As you can see
Winston maintains his "sweet boy" image.
Maggie
looks like she devil,
but this is her "pay attention to me, I
am talking to you" look.
They both had fabulous Xmas, especially
after all the presents were unwrapped
and they had wrapping paper jungle.
Once again why bother buying toys when
you can get hours of entertainment with
ribbon and paper, if you add
empty cardboard box to this...well, it
is "cats gone heaven" days.

Winston is going to have his annual
check up on Wednesday and he always goes
with Marina, the youngest
GSD. Winston has new "big boy" harness
and manly collar. This way he can walk
from the car to the vet's office.
( I believe the sizing on this company's
harnesses was kitten, cat and fat
cat...you can only imagine which one
Winston got. )
Winston walks nicely on harness next to
Marina and it is rather amusing sight.
We'll see how many dogs he will scare
this time. Average dog don't expect a
cat walking towards them with no fear,
just to say hello.
George is still going strong. He'll be 8
years old on April. He had his annual
molar teeth filing. The curse for
lop ear bunny.
Happy New Year.
Tarja.
POTTER
Hi Suzanne-
I just wanted to let you know that
Potter has safely arrived here in
northern Michigan a couple days ago and
is settling into his new home. He made
the flight from South Dakota without any
problems! As you can see in the photos,
he has already decided that my lap will
suit him just fine ;o)

Molly told me he is a love bug and she
was right! He loves nothing more than
chin scratches and getting brushed. He
is so big! My husband keeps laughing and
saying when he sees Potter out of the
corner of his eye he thinks a stray dog
somehow got into our house, haha! His
tail is amazing too, I can just barely
fit my hand around it! Most of all, it
is his sweet and easy going nature that
has won us over.

He is going to be a great addition to
our family and has already been loved on
by everyone that has met him (we've
had a lot of people over with it being
the holidays). It was very painful
losing our blue brit, Nigel, but I think
Potter has already helped to fill the
void. Big thanks to you and Molly for
this wonderful guy! ~Briana
KING TUTT
We just got home from seeing Mark. He
was totally delighted that I had another
of your kittens." I'm very impressed
with her and I know her kittens have a
wonderful start." Tutty reached the two
pound mark. Weight perfect for frame
..excellent
confirmation...HEENT-perfect...Heart and
lungs-perfect...both testicals
descended..gut and butt.. good.
Inoculations brought up to date...we
won't even discuss neutering for at
least 60 days. Stool..NOS
Everyone went nuts when they saw him.
Unlike somebody else I could mention he
was a perfect little gentleman on the
ride down and back. He is so wonderful
Suzanne. I told Mark that no two pounder
in this world has ever had so much love
poured into him. He should weigh about
16 tons.

Hope you had wonderful holidays. Tutty
made ours a lot brighter...And busier.
His favorite trick is dive bombing the
big cats food dish (kibbles) and sending
them all over the kitchen.
We take turns cleaning up.The house is
beginning to return to normal.

Both cats have decided to be Tutt's
nannies. We couldn't believe it when
Tutt picked out Bene to be his chosen
Bubba. Tutt introduced himself to Bene
by launching himself through the air and
sinking his little baby chompers in
Bene's throat. Bene did not know exactly
what hit him and still hasn't figured it
out .We haven't figured it out either.
All we know is that we love this little
monster beyond belief.
Barb and Coleman
What a clown! It's worth getting up at 5
AM just to watch him do his little Potty
Polka. I take it you usually got him up
at 5? He has entered an exploring
stage and is the busiest little kitty
I've ever seen. He is beginning to go
down the pillow steps on his own with
only a bare minimum of coaching. He is
very sharp. I believe his legs are
longer and the forelegs appear to be
thicker.Thanks to the wonderful start
you gave him (and the large chunk of
your heart) he's going to be just fine.
He's still your velcro baby but that's
OK by me. You are truly the Wise Woman
of the Ouachitas. Have you thought about
designing and marketing a " First
Choice- First Aid Kit" for cats with a
first aid manual and supplies? Even
though I'm a nurse and have had about 15
cats the only thing I'm absolutely
certain about is the way to the vet's
office. Your inclusion of eye gtts saved
Tutty a trip to the vet's in very cold
weather.
The proud parents of King Tutt
He has more company coming to see him
this PM ...The word on him is spreading
fast
Our neighbor dropped in...Cody is 15
macho soccer player...devoted dog lover
...and it was love at first sight. An
hour later Cody wants a kitty..and not
just any kitty.
I can tell Tutty is from Arkansas. He
loves toes,TV and REALLY big toys.
We had a good night last night. My
tiny tiger actually slept a little bit.
I was awakened at 5 by a little hind
foot up my nose. He started out around
my neck and finished up with a fine old
family tradition of throwing everything
off the head of my bed down onto my
head. I've got actual dents in my head
from years of thrown items. I learned
early on not to leave anything sharp up
there.
I left him scarfing down his second
helping of the wet this morning so I'd
better get back and velcro him to my
neck and see if he wants to read until
Coleman gets up.
Barb
BTW I can already hear that tiny squeak
2 blocks away while in a coma.
One cream BSH with severe nasal
displacement---Unable to determine
outcome at this time
We are home safe and sound. King Tutt
was a perfect little angel. He was
interested in everything and tasted
everything.He mowed through a serious
amount of kibble, drank some water And
peeped twice. Yes,he very proud of his
potty prowess!! He washed his paws and
climbed into the litterbox. When he
climbed out he cleaned his dirty clumpy
paws off on my pants. Now we are
family!!
We commented that if we had tried to
bring Bene home outside the carrier he
would have been hanging upside down from
the headliner before we got to the end
of your driveway.
There is no way I can express my
gratitude except to take the very best
care we can of your little boy. You've
already put an heroic amount of effort
into him.I'll live up to my part of the
bargain.
I'd better sign off and go play
ringmaster at Cirque du Kitty.
Thank you
Argument heard in the car headed
North on hwy 71:
" Quit playing with him and let him
sleep,he's sleepy."
" I don't call chewing my fingers to the
bone being sleepy."

DREAMER
I opened the door to show Dreamer snow
and I was in my nightgown - this was the
day of the whiteout storm.
She takes one look - and then plunges
into it! I freaked out and had to go in
my slippers and bare legs after her -
she would have just kept plunging
through the snow!
The day of the storm - it lasted about
24 hours - she was stalking the windows,
as if she wanted to fight whatever was
out there.
She says to tell you she is in love with
Muddy's blue-cream kittens, and wants
one, so now I can't go to your website
for awhile.
I will bet they are gorgeous.
Thanks for caring about teh Dreamgirl.
Dreamer is good.
Currently into paper bags and only red
plastic balls.
Hi Suzanne,
I don't think Dreamer ever stops
purring.
Attached are some photos - she's become
obsessed with getting a drink from the
sink. Now she wants a little water
running so she can use it to groom
herself in the morning, Hard to believe,
I know.
What a great cat. I can see why people
get two. I always look at your site and
then want another.

I noticed a Green Bay family purchased a
kitten. That's not to far from me!
Please send them my email and tell them
I'd love to talk about British Shorthair
with someone who has an Oauchita kitten.

Dreamer gets a lot of matter in the
corner of her eyes. Is that typical for
the breed?
She likes to go out in a harness and a
long line while I garden, however, I'm
thinking it may be a bad idea to get her
used to the outdoors when I want her to
be an indoor cat.
Congrats on your new litters.
Sharon
KINGSTON
Hi Suzanne,
How are you? I hope your holidays went
well. Kingston is a joy thank you
so much for him he is robust and
affectionate and one calm and cool
kitten who is growing sooo fast I can't
believe how long he has gotten since the
first day he arrived.
Tara
Suzanne,
I have the Royal Canin dry food you sent
with Kingston and I went out and
purchased some Royal Canin 3oz cans of
wet food age 1-4 mths 1st stage easy
start- babycat instinctive. I work Mon-Frid
daytime hours so, I'll be feeding him
before I leave for work and when I get
home. What is the best way to feed him
or how should I feed him? Should I buy
all the brands you had him on?
He's doing really well and seems to
really like me. He follows me from
room to room and is very fast. I
am having a blast with him. Is
there anything you want me to know or be
aware of? I've been keeping a
little journal of what and how much I've
been feeding him and of his behaviors
also, times when he seems more playful
and times when he's sleeping or quiet.
He is eating and drinking water well.
Also, what type of tools do you use to
groom him? do you use a comb or a
brush. I'll probably have more questions
soon (smile) thanks for my joy
tara
He's here!! Boy is he handsome.
Thank you soo much, box arrived also
haven't opened it yet will as soon as I
hit send
MAYA
Maya is doing
wonderful and still on a diet although
she sneaks and steals the other cats
food when I'm not looking. She is
more spoiled than ever. I have
attached a new picture of her.

Have a wonderful
holiday and a Happy New Year!
Thanks,
Lisa
GEMMA
Hi Suzanne--
Wanted to update you
on Gemma's progress.
She's the cutest little thing,
and very loved.
We have made big progress with
her and Aubie--they were able to both be
in the living room last night with
Aubie's hissing and swatting at a
minimum.
Gemma just wants to play with
her, and Aubie seems to be coming
around.
As the night wore on, Aubie
eventually just laid down next to me on
the floor while Gemma played. I don't
think I'd say she was relaxed--she
watched Gemma the entire time--but she
didn't hiss, spit or growl.
I wanted to let Gemma sleep with
me and Aubie in my bed last night, but
Aubie wasn't having that at all.
So, we'll just work from here and
not push Aubie past what's comfortable.
Gemma had her first
well appointment last Saturday at our
family vet; she was the hit of the
clinic.
All the techs had to pass her
around for kisses, and the vet showed
her to all the other doctors.
:) I actually had to remind my
vet what breed of cat she was;
apparently there aren't too many British
Shorthairs out here in Vegas!
She got a clean bill
of health, and my vet commented on how
well socialized and friendly she was.
Thank you again.
Well, we're going to
be painting the living room this evening
and hanging decorations; a few people
are coming over for Xmas dinner and we
want to show off the new house and new
kitten.
I'll make some pictures when
everything's all fixed up and email them
to you.
I keep trying to take pictures of
Gemma, but I can't get her to sit still
long enough!
Hope all is well with
you!!
Merry Christmas,
Rene
Hi Dr Henne--
Wanted to let you know
that little Gemma made it home safe and
sound. Traffic was just awful (yup, it
rained!), so you know what that means to
Nevada drivers--don't quit tailgating!!
Poor little Gemma did great on the way
home, even though it took an hour. She
did have a little accident on the carpet
after we got home, but I think that was
my fault for not actually putting her in
the cat box. I think she got a little
overwhelmed with all the new smells and
couldn't find it fast enough. She has
eaten and was= 99999999 sorry, Gemma
just helped me--and was very thirsty.
Now she's rubbing all over me. You
were right, she' s just the sweetest
thing! I can't believe how pretty she
is! She's the kitten I always
wanted--thank you so much for selling
her to me. :)
Now, Aubie is making
an enormous ass of herself. Not sure
how to handle it. I let her very
briefly see Gemma in the carrier, and
she started hissing. So, I took her
away from Gemma immediately. She crying
outside the door now, but she started
hissing at ME a few minutes ago when she
smelled Gemma on me. Then she starting
making that clicking/chirping noise cats
will make when they're watching
birds--again, at me!! :(
What's the best way to
go forward? I'm actually quite
surprised she's acting this way--she
tolerated the pugs just fine.
Thanks!!
Rene
