AMIRA
Hi
Suzanne,
Amira is
doing absolutely great!

She
loves the girls and they love her
dearly. She is quite the active
little girl- always running,
pouncing and chasing birds from the
window.
She
sleeps in her little bed right next
to ours every night- she is just the
sweetest thing!
When
we come home she runs to the door
demanding to be pet.
Thank
you so so much for our girl!

Attached
are some pictures from her most
recent photo shoot.

Yetie
Yetie says “Hi and happy new
year”!!!

She is doing great – fat and sassy
and probably wishes she had buddy.
I just might adopt a kitty for her.
Joyce
CH Ouachita Maya
Angelou w/ Elvis
Sorry, silly me I forgot to attach
the pictures, Duh!

My babies are finally haning
out on the kitty condo
together. Yea!! They
didn't even hiss at each
other once.
Lisa

Hi Suzanne,
I am happy to report that all my
babies are doing much better around
each other! Maya still has moments
that she hisses at Elvis and he runs
and hides under my bed but they are
spending time all laying on the bed
together without hissing at each
other. I'm so happy, I let Maya
sleep with me again last night with
the other 2 cats and she did fine.
I have to ask, how did Ms. Maya get
so spoiled, she knows she's the
queen and wants everyone's attention
all the time! I'm not complaining,
I can't get over what a sweet girl
she is and as you said full of
personality.
She is so different than my
male Brit, he only wants attention
some times and it's on his terms and
Maya is always around and wanting
attention. My whole family loves
her, even my husband! What a great
job you did raising her.
Was she able to be around other cats
and room freely around them? I was
just wondering because of her
personality.
Thanks again for a wonderful cat!!!!

HARRY HOTSPUR
I
was just looking through some old
photos, and I remembered the time
that Harry tried to make a
jail-break from my house.
Maybe I shouldn’t get a new little
man after all!
I’m just joking. Thanks, again,
Suzanne, for all your help. I’m
excited about the prospect of a new
British shorthair sometime soon….
Best, Jessica
You'd get a laugh from her these
days. She's very bold now, and then
some! She's into everything now, and
more or less hits us up when she wants
to be petted. She's figured out where
everyone sleeps at night, and loves to
attack anything under any covers. All
said, she's doing a great job of getting
past the shyness. The kitchen counters
are no longer safe, regardless of
whether or not anyone is around to try
to dissuade her from them. She's
wonderful, and certainly keeps us
entertained!!! I'll send you some
pictures soon if she ever sits still
long enough, the 20 I have so far are
all blurry (she only remains still when
she's asleep).
Eric
Hi Suzanne,
She's a bit shy, and not to anxious
about being held, but I thinks she's
getting more relaxed by the hour. She
doesn't mind being just a few feet away
from us, she just isn't so keen about
being handled. She did let me pet her
while she was eating last night, so I
think it's just a matter of time before
she's completely at ease. She managed to
find her reflection in a mirror
yesterday, and proceeded to fight with
it for about 5 minutes. We're already
getting a lot of laughs out of her.
She's wonderful!
Best regards,
Eric
Hi Suzanne,
It was great meeting you
too! The drive back went
smoothly, we just got back
about 25 minutes ago. The
kitten is already moving
from room to room, searching
and exploring every nook and
cranny. She slept for
several hours on the way
back, but seems to be
recharged now. She's already
speaking too, and Gina is
thrilled! I am too, we both
thank you!

CHURCH
|
This is Gina. Church has
been home for a couple of
weeks now and has adjusted
quite well. She attacks us
in our sleep and then
settles down at the foot of
the bed. She has really
come out of her shell. She
is quite the ornery little
bugger. Has my two old
little dogs steppin and
looking at me like wasn't
the kid enough??? She is so
cute.
I had a vet visit the
following weekend after we
picked her up. She was not
sick or anything. I had
thought about vet school and
had worked at a vet office
many moons ago and they just
always recommended a new pet
check up. The vet did have
on question. He noticed she
did not have the Feline
Leukemia vaccine started.
He wanted me to ask if there
was any particular reason
she did not have it (like
was it something related to
her breed or something like
that) or was it only that
she had had several shots
stacked on at one time and
since her mom was
negative it was held
off????? He wanted to start
that one in Feb but not if
it was not recommended for
the breed. I'm sorry does
that make any sense?
Sometimes what I write makes
sense in my head but not so
much on paper.
Thanks

JENNIE
That's is GREAT! I'm not in any
hurry so whenever you have the "right"
kitten for me, it will be fine. You
sure did a terrific job matching Jennie
with us. She even curls up on my lap
(when Charles isn't home!) with the two
dogs next to me and "Tiger" our adopted
stray right there with us. We still
have her confined to Charles' office -
the house is to big for her to get lost
so I won't let her on the floor when she
is with me. She has plenty of room to
run around in what is now "Jennie's
room" and no longer Charles' office!!
TOOOO funny.....
|
Hi!
I was so
shocked
to see
Jennie
already
on your
website.
What a
nice
surprise!!!!
We are
so crazy
about
her that
I was
wondering
if you
keep a
waiting
list for
your
kittens?
Yes, I
want one
of my
own
since
Jennie
belongs
to
Charles
(as he
keeps
reminding
me!!!).
Seriously,
someday
I would
love to
have a
male -
cream
color.
If my
memory
is
accurate,
I think
I saw
one last
year on
your
site.
If you
ever get
another
one,
would
you
please
keep me
in
mind? I
am
certainly
in no
hurry
and
wouldn't
think of
getting
one from
anyone
but
you.
Thanks!

GAMBLE KITTEN/ MAX
Baby arrived safe and sound, purring
and going potty several times in
litter box. Our Russian Siberian is
hissing at him with deep rumbles
down deep. After introduction left
baby in laundry room to rest and
eat. Will re-introduce them
tomorrow. He is very cute and he
will have a comfortable happy indoor
life.
Thanks for letting us add him to our
family.
Regards
John
BENTLY
When you
are almost two years old and have had a
tough day of clearing off flat surfaces

The only
thing left to do is have a nap-nap with
Cluseau and Mama Cujo
.
TIPPER
Suzanne,
Here are the pictures of Tipper growing
up.. Want to thank you again for the
wonderful job you did with him. I think
he must have been the pick of the
litter.

Left the mixture of corn meal and
flour for fish fry. Walked into
kitchen and found that tipper had a
good time with it..... I now know he
gets on the kitchen counter.....
The only off limits our cats have
are the kitchen counter and the
table. Tipper is still learning...

Tipper loves the water bowl. (is he part
fish?)

Tucker is establishing his alpha male.

Making progress!
Love, June
VICTORIA AND NATALIE

Hi

These guys are so much fun to watch.

I wanted you to see what a hard
life thy have.

Elizabeth
TIPPER
Suzanne, I'm sorry
I didn't get those pictures sent. I
was looking at them and feel he's
grown so much, I want to send you
new one's and I'm working on that.
I'll send you some next week. I'm
going to attach one right now so you
can see if you get it.
Let me know and then I'll
send some new ones.
June
JENNIE BLUHi!
Jennie is growing so FAST
and is just beautiful. She
is the sweetest little baby
and loves to play. I know
she is very happy because
all you have to do is look
at her and she starts her
little motor running!
She has trained us very well
already. Her appetite is
wonderful and she lets me
know exactly what she likes
and does not like. She is
definitely a Royal Canin
kitten. Do not even try to
give her Science Diet
because she will pick it out
of her bowl. It is so
funny. Jennie loves her
Fancy Feast and gets 2 cans
a day. Her dry food is
changed every morning and
she always has that
available to her.
Now lets talk about NutriCal
and twice-daily grooming.
This is one area where she
has trained me extremely
well. If she gets her
NutriCal she will stand
still to be combed and
brushed; if not, she will
have no part of it. It only
took her about a week to
train me in that area.

We love her dearly.

She is bonding to
Charles, which was our hope,
but she sure does like her
Momma (I bring the
food!!!!!!) so that probably
is the reason.
Thanks so much for such a
precious little baby. We
are so pleased and she is
simply adorable and so
pretty.
Hope you enjoy the pictures
- we had to send them in two
groups.
Lovingly,
Sheron and Charles Haraway

MAGGIE AND TEDDY
Hi
Suzanne,
The
girls are doing just great. In fact
Maggie is trying to help me write
this email. They both love my
computer desk.

Maggie
is just adorable and sweet and Teddy
is getting better all the time.
She's a little skittish but loves
attention.

They're wonderful girls. Below
are a few photos of them.
Renee

CH OUACHITA MAYA ANGELOU
Suzanne,
I couldn't resist sending you these
pictures, she finally got up on the
kitty condo that Elvis uses. I did
let her out and she still has issues
with Elvis, she hisses at him and he
runs. I
think he just wants to be friends
with her but she doesn't want to be
friends just yet.

When I can watch them I
will let her go where she wants but
at night I think I will keep them
separate for now. Thanks for your
advice!
Lisa

Here's a picture of Maya in her new
home.
How will I know when I can let Maya
come out and start being around my
other cats, she wanted to come out
of the rooms that I have had her in
today. I hate keeping her locked up
but I know I have to go slowly. Hope
you are doing well and again, I just
love Maya she is so sweet.
Thanks,
Lisa
Hey Suzanne,
Maya seems to be very content
here. I read that you can get
things that have the smell of
the other cats on them and let
her smell the other cats scent
so I have been doing that with
her and my cats. I'm keeping
her in my bathroom so that she
can smell my cats under the door
and they can smell her. I also
have a walk in closet that opens
from the bathroom into the
closet so today I opened that so
she can smell my other cats and
have more areas to check out. I
hate keeping her locked up but I
now realize how important a slow
introduction is. I just really
didn't think Maya or my male
would react as they did because
Elvis (my male) is very laid
back and Maya seemed to be also.
My kids absolutely love Maya. I
am having trouble keeping my
daughter away from her so that
my daughter can get ready for
school. She is such a loving
cat, I am very thankful that I
was able to get her and when she
is able to come out and be with
the other cats I know she will
love it here, she already seems
to be very happy.
Thank you so much for giving us
Maya and for all of your help.
I'll keep you updated on Maya
and will send you pictures once
in a while.
Take care and will talk to you
soon! Sorry I jumped the gun on
the introduction and sorry I've
been a pain.
Lisa
Maya is doing okay I think I
may have made a mistake when I
got home. I let Maya out in my
bathroom and put all of her
things in there and then I took
my male Brit in to meet her and
she went after him. It was not
a good meeting at all, and I'm
afraid they will fight when I
let her wander out on her own.
My husband said I should not let
them meet each other yet because
I may have made the situation
worse. I think my male is
actually afraid of her because
she came after him. Do you
think I made things worse and
what can I do to get them to get
along?
Bene's walking to Yell County
I had a glass
bowl of chicken livers soaking
in milk setting on the counter.
They were covered of course.
Bene found them. BTW Bene
didn't want to eat the chicken
livers... he just didn't want
them on the cabinet. I told you
I had to put my apothecary jars
in boxes and hide them when we
go on day trips didn't I ?
Boy is
Coleman going to get punished
tonight.
Barb
OLLIE
It's warm up here too....at least
on a relative basis. Feels more like
March.
Ollie is definitely a beautiful boy.
He's still, quite naturally, shy and
cautious. He initiates contact and
is an independent spirit. He is
going to be great. I'm very happy.
I sometimes wish we would have
gotten two he's so cute.
John
Suzanne: Ollie is doing very
well; no colds, no diarrhea, eyes
are good. He is adorable and
receives a lot of attention these
days. We love him! I sent in the
papers to register and change the
microchip database today. We'll try
to get our act together and send
some pics to post to the website.
John was ready to get another kitten
on day two - but we'll be waiting a
VERY LONG time before that
happens:-) One baby is enough for
now. Thanks for the great service;
you have been wonderful to work with
on this deal. We'll stay in touch.
Warm regards,
Julie
