Testimonies 2010 - June
NIGEL
Suzanne,
I don't think I express how much we're
enjoying Nigel at the Mahoney home.
He acts like he was meant to be here.
He was fairly quiet after he arrived and
hid for a few hours behind the washer
and dryer. But by 10pm, he was
ready to have company and came out of
hiding. He ate and gave me a few
good purrs and played a bit. I
thought I'd keep him confined to the
laundry room, also the location of his
litter box for the night, by attaching a
piece of thick cardboard to the front of
the cat door leading out to the hallway.
Nigel had other ideas. When I got
up to workout in the morning, he met me
in the hallway, meowing his
greetings. He'd worked his way past the
cardboard barrier. So, rather than
exercise, I introduced Nigel to his K9
housemates. Of course, he did some
hissing and spitting and our Dog Girls
decided not to tangle with him.
Yesterday, he spent the day wandering
and exploring the house. He's
found good hiding places, but generally
spends a lot of time out and about.
Amaya and Talia have held him a lot.
He doesn't wiggle to get away. He
permits them to dress him in all types
of doll garb. He meows for company
when they leave him to go eat supper.
Last night, he spent the night with Tim
and I. He was quite playful for a
few minutes, but then settled down and
went to sleep like he'd always slept
with us. He was up this morning,
and joined me in my workout. He's
loves chasing his mouse you sent with
him.
He seems to like Royal Canin baby cat
food. Everything litter box wise
is going well. He's had
daily regular bowel movements.
Thank you again for this sweet boy.
Teena
Suzanne,
Thank you again for meeting us in
Russellville with Nigel. You saved
us a considerable amount of driving and
we really appreciate your kindness.
Nigel was the perfect kitty on the way
home. He meowed a bit, and then he
crawled under the little cat bed in the
crate and fell asleep. He slept
the whole way home.

At home, I opened his kennel in his
litter box room. He gave me a few
dirty looks, but then realized there was
a bowl of canned cat food and he had a
few bites. Then he explored a bit
and decided to hide behind the washer
and dryer (I forgot he'd be small enough
to walk behind there). As
soon as I leave the room, he comes out
and meows. I'm sure after a night,
he'll be ready to rule the house.
Thank you for the great kitten, too.

RIGBY AND STONEWALL
Suzanne,
We just wanted to
let you know that your package arrived
today with the book, meds, and
paperwork.

I have attached a
couple of photos. As you can see, they
have definitely made themselves at home
in only two days.

These photos
show one of their down moments after a
play session. They both learn very
quickly and are very affectionate.
Thanks again for
two wonderful kittens,
Steve and Beth
Suzanne,
Well, we survived
our first night with the two boys. After
they finally settled down last night –
after midnight- we went to bed. They
both decided that their place was with
us. I don’t know how Stonewall was able
to get up to the top of our bed, but he
did. Rigby slept at the foot for most of
the night.
Then this morning……
These are two reallllly active kittens.
They seem to take delight in ambushing
each other, but in a playful manner. No
clawing or spitting at all. They both
have very sweet and loving dispositions.
They both seem to like to be petted,
especially Rigby. He has a tendency to
get under foot when walking. He’ll get
right between your feet and rub against
your shins. I’m sure you already know
this, though.
I was a little
concerned that Stonewall, due to his
size, would have trouble holding his own
or getting up and down stairs. No worrys.
That kitten zooms up and down stairs to
the basement and the second floor like a
little roly-poly
rocket.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\0009
Whoops, Stonewall just walked on my
keyboard. They are extremely
inquisitive. I mean they are into, on
top of, under, through, around
everything! They’re a blast to watch.
Sorry to go on so
long, but I just wanted you to know how
pleased we are to have them in our home.
Suzanne,
They are here and
in beautiful shape. I can’t believe how
beautiful they are. Rigby has the most
striking coat and feels like a plush
teddy bear. They slept most of the hour
and a half ride from the airport to
their new home. Beth and I call that SUE
mode (storing up energy). I introduced
them to the litter box, food and water,
which they made use of in that order.
They’re already making themselves quite
at home.
They are very involved
in exploring their new home. Rigby has
already explored the basement and 1st
floor. Stonewall followed Rigby around
at first, but is now running around all
by himself. Right now Stonewall has
discovered the toys and is busily
chasing a toy mouse all around the
living room. It’s really interesting;
Rigby wanders around, under, over,
through in very easy manner. Stonewall
has two speeds: stop and “how does a
kitten that small move that fast?!”
Stonewall also has one of the loudest
purr motors I’ve ever heard on a kitten.
Thank you so much
for sending them to us and taking such
good care of them. We’ll get some photos
this weekend and send them to you.
MADISON
Thank you Suzanne!!!
We will be sure to let everyone
know the true name of Madison's pose...
LOL... So glad ur enjoying the shots of
her. We're constantly taking pics. It
seems we just can't get enough.

What
a joy she is Suzanne...What a little
pumkin you sent me!! I can hardly wait
to get home in the eve. to see her...

Hello Suzanne - Hope all is well. My
sister wanted me to ask...In the
attached picture I'm sending you of
Madison, her sitting up, is this
something her breed is known to do? When
ever we take pics this seems to be a
favorite pose of Madison's... ;-) quite
a conversational piece as well, I might
add...LOL people think it is so cute! Of
course I agree! ;-) the very best
investment I ever made!!! When I got
Madison from you!!

Hello Suzanne - Just
shots of my Sweetheart Madison, I
wanted to share with you.

Suzanne,
It was good seeing you again yesterday.
Winston slept most of the way home and
for a while after we arrived. Once he
ventured out of his carrier, he stayed
busy exploring and inspecting most of
the evening. He's quite a character.
He didn't like it when he couldn't get
his toy mouse out from under the washing
machine. When I got it out for him, he
carried it around by the tail and put it
in his carrier so it wouldn't get away
from him again. Later he figured out he
had more room to chase it in the
bathroom. He already will lay on his
back and let us pet his belly, he rubs
his head on us and gives us lots of
kitty kisses. Here's a picture of him
in the sink. I would have sent it last
night but we were having too much fun
playing. Thanks for taking such good
care of him so he could fit right in in
his new home.
