BOO BOO
Hi Suzanne,
We hope everything is going well for
you. Boo-Boo is being VERY spoiled
and loving it! He is just the
sweetest, most cuddly cat ever. He
loves to sleep on a special crocheted
pillow that my Mom made for me (think
Prince and the Pea) and he loves to give
head butts to everyone in the early
hours of the morning. What a
little love bug, he is!
From last week, here's a picture of
Boo-Boo and his big bro, Beau-Beau (not
fighting for once)!

Have a great holiday weekend!
Mary and Sue
Thanks so much!
Our vet at Blue Sky Animal Clinic posted
a photo of Boo-Boo on Facebook!
Our vet and all the techs just oooh'ed
and aaaahh'ed Boo, he is so adorable!
They wouldn't let us take him home
until all the staff and lab techs got a
chance to cuddle him!
Boo is becoming acclimated to the
household...both dogs leave him alone
(they are very friendly and adore cats,
but they know that Boo needs his space
right now). Our other kitten, Beau (the
Siberian) chases Boo all the time and
they get into wrestling matches a lot.
Beau doesn't hurt Boo, but we just wish
he would leave Boo alone! I think
time will help out with their
relationship.....they sleep on the same
bed (mine) - about 3 feet apart and
drink water out of the same bowl at the
same time, so we don't think they are
too far from becoming BFFs. We
know that Beau, at 8 lbs could really
hurt Boo, but Boo seems to go after Beau
a good many times too. I guess
they're just trying to figure out who is
top cat!
Boo keeps us laughing with all his
antics and his personality! He's a
real treasure.
We'll send more pictures soon.

Boo-Boo

Having a Boo-nap on mama's pillows!
Yes, I forgot to mention that the
paperwork arrived yesterday afternoon.
Boo-boo's pedigree is very impressive -
we were amazed at all the titles!
We have made an appointment with our vet
for Friday to introduce our newest
family member to our vets (and visa
versa).
Hi Suzanne,
The first night passed with no problems!
Boo-boo is just the sweetest, most
curious little guy. He's not
afraid of anything (the floor length
mirror has provided some entertaining
reactions). Sue kept Boo-boo in
her room last night and this morning we
have introduced our older dog, Teddie (7
years and VERY gentle) to him.
Boo-boo wasn't too impressed and ignored
Teddie for the most part.....too many
other things to explore. Later on
this morning, I'll introduce Boo-boo to
our other dog, Tommie (2 years and more
excitable) and after that we'll see how
our cat, Beau takes to Boo-boo.
Boo-boo ate well last night (wet and
dry), played with some toys, purred a
lot, head-butted our faces, rubbed his
body all over our legs, used the cat box
with no problems and seems to be
enjoying being the intrepid explorer!
He oozes charm......what a little
lady-killer he is!
We'll send photos soon.
Thanks!

WEASELS STILL RULE
GREMLIN, POOF AND
JELLY
Hi, Suzanne,
We're still under siege by gray
furry things. Just got Jelly back from 4
days at the vet. She gave her
hyperthyroid disease. <G>. I just LOVE
giving pills to cats....Once the dosage
is set for sure I hope to go
trans-dermal. Gremlin is still a loner,
but she has quit ( 99% ) climbing legs.
She now sits at your feet under the
table and only occasionally sticks a 1"
claw in your knee. She ate a 1" piece of
dill pickle that fell off my burger the
other day.
Poof, Poof, Poof-- if she wasn't
so damned pretty, I'd kick her out. She
still makes life miserable for Jelly.
Tackles her like football player or
won't let her eat unless we interfere.
She will come by and rub all over
you--sleeps all night on Laura's feet or
against her hip--talks and purrs all the
time. Neither one is a lap-cat or likes
to be held. They both love to play with
water--even in their bowl. Gremmie even
climbs thru the shower curtain if you
don't shut her out of the room.I believe
we got in on the cats just in time. Your
site shows slim pickings and a lot of
pre-sold Kits. Just lucky, I guess. I
finally let them down in the basement
and they usually bring up a mouse to
play with until I get rid of it.

BEATRICE
Suzanne,
John and I just wanted to update you on
how our new kitten is doing! We
named her Beatrice
J

She is settling in,
and seems really happy and comfortable
with us. She likes to eat….A LOT,
and likes to play with the feathers and
mice you sent with her.

She is super funny and runs and plays,
but also likes to sit in our lap and
relax. She was really talkative
the first week or so, but has gotten
pretty quiet now most of the time.
We can’t thank you enough for this
wonderful addition to our household.
I have attached a couple of pics of her
J
Thanks
again!

LITTLE MISS MAGGIE

Suzanne,
Here's the
birthday girl.
She is rather
tiny comparing to our sumo
wrestler.
Personalities are
different like day and night.
Winston is the text book BSH cat
and
Maggie, well,
she's something else. They
wouldn't know what to do w/out
one another.
Maggie is
encouraging Winston to run off
the extra pounds, but he prefers
to
wrestle those
off. Quite often we see Maggie
holding Winston in a headlock.
She is very good
climber and she can jump much
higher than Winston.
When people come
over, Winston comes and greets
everyone and Maggie runs to
hide.
Winston loves
dogs and Maggie goes to hide.
(No one has been
mean to little miss Maggie and
no dog has chased her. )
Maggie spends
most of her time on her back
wanting belly rubs. Winston
prefers
neck rubs.
Maggie likes to
sit on your lap or been pick up.
Winston is on the ground kinda
cat.
I spend quite a
bit time in the kitchen and I
have both of them keeping me
company.
Maggie, because
she might be able to get
something extra to eat and
Winston just likes to hang out.

Maggie eats
pretty much everything; dog
food, people food, bunny food.
Lately she hasn't been
stealing George's
carrots, thank goodness.
Hope all well
w/you and your family.
Cheers, Tarja.

here are some recent photos of
Wellington, my water-obsessed cat.
he is three years old now
and doing wonderful.

he lives with a golden retriever
and a 6yr old boy.
SUZIE
Hi Suzanne,
Just an update on Suzie - she's LOTS
of fun and runs through the house at
break neck speed! What a joy she is.
She adjusted so quickly. Her
favorite toy is the little green and
white mouse you sent home with her.
It's small and light enough that she
can bat it around for hours as well
as carry it in her mouth. She's so
entertaining with it, leaping at it,
rolling around on the floor with it,
and kicking it with her hind legs.
And I think she has grown a little
bit - she's certainly a good eater,
but we won't let her get overweight.
She expends so much energy running
and exercising, I see why she has a
good appetite.
Thanks for all the good stuff you
sent back with us!

BENE
He finally
climbed! It was an accident but he
climbed!! He was chasing Cluseau
full tilt when C. took off up the
scratching post. Bene got halfway up
when he realized what happened. He
looked at me like HELP! and was
stuck. Cluseau bapped him on the
head and up he went to the top. I'm
so proud of my little tiger. Of
course that was his first time on
the scratching post too. He uses my
feet as his scratching post and does
not differentiate between shoes or
no shoes. Next goal Mt.Everest.
Man is he ever a
hand full!!

SUZIE
Suzanne,
I hope Bonnie has told you how happy
Suzie has made us. We didn't know
we were getting a lap kitty, but
that is what Suzie has become. She
has warmed up to us and takes her
afternoon nap in my lap when I take
mine. Knowing that British
Shorthairs like their territory,
this has been such a wonderful
bonus. You should see our Facebook
friends comments.
If you
happen to be on facebook, please
friend us so that you can see
Suzie's album. We also have
Sophie's album, and it's worth a
look, too. I will continue adding
to Suzie's album as time goes on,
but I'm enclosing a couple of photos
that I have taken, including the one
in which we had our first meeting in
Russellville.

Thanks again for meeting us in
Russellville, as the drive going and
coming was quite stressful because
of the weather. Suzie was
completely oblivious to the weather
on our drive back, but we were aged
by about ten years and had to pull
over in Memphis because of the wind
and rain.
Thanks again for providing us with
such a joyful experience with
Suzie. Her personality is so
affectionate, and we know that you
did much to socialize her so that
she could become such a wonderful
companion.

Victoria looks like she has
gotten taller, and she will now lay
