Testimonies 2010 - November
BLUE

JUST WANTED TO SEND SOME PICTURES OF
BLUE!

NIGEL
Suzanne,
We just couldn't let Nigel's photo on
your testimonial page go without a
testimony attached to it.
We love our sweet boy. He has been
the most gentle, kind and patient cat,
we've ever experienced. He fits
perfectly into our family.

I think every little girl needs a kitten
like Nigel in their life. Our
young daughters have had the most
wonderful time with this kitten.
He's been dressed in doll dresses,
wrapped in blankets, taken into
playhouses and cuddled in front of a
good movie. He is so tolerant of
their actions that I've grown to believe
he really enjoys being a girls'
kitten. . Somedays, when we've
been out at school or work for most of
the day, Nigel is quite insistent in
letting us know he missed us.
He'll meow his presence
until someone pays attention to him.
Nigel also likes to keep a watchful eye
on all of our activities in the house.
During the day, he stretches out on the
back of the family room sofa where he
can get a great view of the kids in the
family room or whatever I am doing in
the kitchen or dining room. He
climbs up to the girls' top bunk to
watch out the window in comfort.
When Tim is in his office working, Nigel
often lays on the top of the office
chair to supervise Tim's work. In
fact, I believe my dog lover husband may
have switch sides to join us cat lovers.
Our canines have welcomed Nigel as well.
Our younger dog, Maisy and Nigel can
often be found sharing a spot of
sunlight in front of a window.
They also play and wrestle together.
Nigel is the aggressor. Maisy will
nudge him with her nose, or occasionally
give him a little heart thrilling chase
down the hallway.
One of the neatest things about this boy
is how sedate and gentle he is. He
rarely ever uses a claw. I don't
think my children have had a scratch
from him. Today, we had family
picture taken in a wooded area near our
home. We decided to bring the pets
for pictures too. Nigel, who
hasn't had a paw on the bare ground or
experienced a gentle breeze beyond his
transport to our home, came for the
photo too. I believe he was the
calmest subject in front of the camera
today. He laid in my arms, aware
of his surroundings (overly excited
kids, crazy dogs, crackling fall
leaves), but without so much as a tense
muscle. I am amazed.
Once again, thank you for our boy.
We can't say enough about him.

KIRBY

Dear Suzanne,
My neighbor is
thinking about getting her daughter a
kitten for her birthday.
Her birthday is in December and I
was wondering if you have any males who
will be ready at that time.
She is in love with our "Kirby"
and I told them I would
find out some
info for them.
I know they want a male.....
We just love Kirby-he
has the sweetest
personality
RUDY
Suzanne,
Haven't emailed you in a while and
decided to give you an update on my
Rudy.

Rudy has grown and gained over 2 pound
since we've got him. Since it's been
gradual, I don't really notice him being
much bigger :)) But I regularly weight
him on a little scale we have. And I can
feel him being heavier when he gets on
top of me when I sleep :))

I have followed your advise on dry food
and slowly switched him to eating it. I
usually mix dry food with a little bit
of canned, but after eating this
mixture, he eats dry food by itself. And
as you said dry food makes him thirsty,
so he drinks a lot of water now.
Thank you Suzanne
ARTHUR
Suzanne,
Arthur is now 1 year old and a wonderful
cat. Thought you might want to see
what he looks like these days.

His favorite game is hiding under
the bed in the morning and attacking
your feet as you get dressed. He
is funny, adorable and definitely has a
mind of his own. We really enjoy
him.
Thanks for all you do,
Ralph and Jean

CATRINE
As for the results, there were
240 cats at the show, and she was the
ONLY Brit, cat or kitten.
So she got 6 firsts, 6 best of
breed, and 6 best of color class by
default.
The first judge loved her up and
raved about her fur.
The second judge also was visibly
pleased, until he put her back into the
ring cage/box, and she let out a hiss
that would have befit one of the
Gremlins in the old movie.
Every subsequent judge got a
vicious hissy fit, too.
She almost NEVER hisses here,
only if a stray cat turns up in the
yard.
Her American sister didn't like
it, either.
One judge (a big woman in her
60's), remarked to the crowd after
trying to pull her out of the ring cage,
"Boy, she is strong!"
After hustling the American back
into her cage pretty fast, she said, "In
24 years of judging, I've never had a
KITTEN pull me halfway into the cage!"
I concluded that we weren't
getting any bonus points for that....
Have a good week!
Carol
SHAWDOW
Hey Suzanne,
Shadow
and I made it home safe and sound last
night and without any accidents
whatsoever, he even slept most of the
trip!
Sounds
like a plan. He has warmed up big time!
He gets to meowing if he can't find me!
Thanks so much,
Shane
